November to February is ideal β€” temperatures are mild (15–25Β°C) and wildlife is most active. The monsoon season (June–September) brings lush beauty but some routes may close. We operate year-round with adapted itineraries.
All wildlife viewing is done from the safety of our boat or designated watchtowers. We strictly follow West Bengal Forest Department guidelines. In 18 years of operations, we have had zero safety incidents. Our guides are first-aid certified.
Yes β€” all required permits (Forest Entry, Inner Core Zone passes, and photography permits) are included in every package price. You need only carry a valid government ID. Foreign nationals need a valid passport.
On the 4-day expedition, around 60% of groups report confirmed tiger sightings. On the 2-day tour, it's roughly 35%. Day tour sightings are rare but not unheard of. Even without a tiger, guests consistently describe the trip as extraordinary due to the rich overall wildlife and landscape.
Cancellations 30+ days prior: 100% refund. 15–30 days: 50% refund. Within 15 days: no refund but free rescheduling within 12 months. If we cancel due to weather or forest closure, you receive a full refund or a priority rebook.
Wear earth tones (greens, browns, khaki) to avoid disturbing wildlife. Essentials: lightweight cotton layers, sturdy walking shoes, wide-brim hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, and camera. A detailed packing list is sent upon booking.
